The EV Report highlights APM Terminals Elizabeth’s order for 96 Orange EV HUSK-e XP electric terminal trucks, one of the largest port electrification commitments to date. The order follows APM Terminals’ recent expansion of its Orange EV fleet at Pier 400 in Los Angeles and reflects a growing shift among port operators from electric truck pilot programs to fleet-wide adoption.
The HUSK-e XP trucks will be built at Orange EV’s Kansas City, Kansas, facility and are purpose-built for demanding port and terminal operations. The EV Report also highlights Orange EV’s 97%+ average fleet uptime and more than 14 million hours and 33 million miles of real-world operation.
